Now that I have the caddie of slow cookers, I am ready to make all kinds of beans. A pot of bean is a great starter recipe. I don't even bother with the pre-soak - just through the beans and other ingredients in the slow cooker in the morning, set it on low and they are done when you get home from work.

I'm tickled that our books/reading/teaching blog is on your list followed by cooking blogs! (I have at least a half a dozen cooking blogs in my Google Reader!)
AND, I was excited to get a new slow cooker bean recipe...but your link is broken. There are two periods after www, but something else is off a bit, too. Not criticizing, just giving you the kind of feedback I would want to get!
